Have you ever encountered that one massive piece of furniture that seems impossible to move, and someone invariably points and says, ‘Let ____ tackle that one’? Well, I’ve always been the designated ‘fill in the blank’ guy. Growing up, I found myself assisting friends and family with their moves, often tasked with handling the heaviest items. I had a knack for it and derived satisfaction from helping out.  There is no better feeling then the last piece being unloaded from the truck.

With each move I participated in, my role evolved from lifting to orchestrating the loading of trucks, eventually leading to me taking the wheel as the designated driver. It dawned on me that this knack for organizing moves could be transformed into a business, thus, Chief Dale’s Moving was born. We’re a fully licensed and insured moving company holding a CE in North Carolina (CE-3044), proudly serving clients across the state from our base in New Bern. Our service extends throughout Eastern NC, including Kinston, New Bern, Greenville, Jacksonville, and the entire crystal coast.
